Use wikipedia for terms you do not understand.</p> <p>There are some basic things you need to know before attempting to run MU. You dont know them yet. When you are ready, the community will answer your questions better.</p> <p>if you are using shared hosting(which I think you are), you cannot access your httpd.conf and you cannot change your DNS IP server. You can contact your web hosting provider but chances are that they will not edit these things for you.
