Site5 Install Multiadmin Account (4 posts)

I want to install MU on my Site5 multiadmin account. To be more specific, I want to install it on one of my subdomains, not the main account. Everything installed fine, but the email activation takes me to the main domain.

    Example:
    Main site is abc.com
    Subaccount is def.com

MU is set up on the subaccount at def.com.
When I try to activate the email for a new blog, it dafaults back to the main domain at abc.com.

    Hope this makes sense.

I know that I will eventually have to move the site to its own host instead of a Site5 multiadmin account. For now, I just want to test it out and see how it will work for me, then I will move it.

Maybe def.com is set as alias of abc.com? Or has some redirect?

    "3) edited wp-config.php file"

    Don't.

This is MU, not single WP. you don't edit the config file. In fact, inside the config file is a great big huge message at the top saying to not edit the config file.

Delete wp-config.php. then visit your website & follow the steps.
