Hello, I've setup a home server for me and I friends and there seems to be a problem with the registration. Emails refuse to be sent out to people who want to register. I've entered my email in apache's conf file and it still does not work. And furthermore, I also installed the SMTP plugin and the e-mail menu does not appear. I've checked the logs of apache, mySQL and php. Non have any errors related to dispatching an email.

Have you setup an email server on that box?
And if so have you checked the logs and error logs for that email server?
Does sending email normally via that server work?

I have similar problem, but I already have a working forum and e-mail registrations work fine but not on blog registration.
Am I need to set up the email on blog.?
