WordPress MU

OK, so I am wondering if this is what I need.

I have a WP blog, and then my wife wanted one, so I installed it for her. Then her friend wanted one, so I installed a new one. Then her other friend wanted one, and I installed a new one. Then my friend wanted one, so I installed one for her. Now another friend wants one, and I'm going to install one for him.

So that is 6 seperate installs of WP. Space is not a problem. But it is possible that a few more of my friends will want one. I could install them seperately. But I shudder at the thought of a WP upgrade coming out and having to upgrade 6 or 8 or 10 sites individually.

So what I want to know, should I be using WordPress MU?

WPMU hasn't even reached "alpha" yet, let alone beta. The general rule myself and a few other go with is use WPMU only if you're going to have 20+ users. Otherwise it really would not be worth the hassle.
