    Anyone out there tried NewsTweet plugin which uses ajax to display results from a searchable term on Twitter in a widget on your sidebar? I am trying this using wpmu 2.7 and buddypress but the widget can't seem to pull the feed (See: http://www.sportstwit.com).

    It appears to be an issue with jquery.js interfering with "URL/mu-plugins/bp-core/js/jquery/jquery.livequery.pack.js?ver=2.7".

    Conflicts with different versions of the same js lib are problematic. The only solution that I've found is to let one of them win. Disable the reliance of your widget on it's own version of jquery and it will rely on bp's jquery.

    Excellent advice. I am asking the plugin developer how I might disable the reliance on jquery.
