I searched the forums and had no luck. Is it possible to add a user group to wordpress mu (wordpress) e.g moderator, donator??

Nope, not by default and nope not via any plugin I'm aware of.

For non-mu, there is http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/user-access-manager/ but I cannot get it to work for mu.
