Hi there
I've just updated to 2.7 from 2.6. I did a clean install except for my wp-content folder, which I kept there and after the install I ran the update for the blogs from within the back office. Everything runs fine.
Except I'm now getting file not found errors for images and documents which were either previously in the blogs.dir or I've added since. I can see them listed in the Media library, but they are not showing up.
Here's an example post with an image in.

Any ideas?

Thanks, made the changes but still not working.
Does Wordpress Mu employ some form of caching that means I won't see the effects of the change immeadiatly?

Fixed it.
It was a Apache2 issue, my wp-content needed to be set to 755 since my server won't let me access files at 777.
I picked up on it when I looked at the Apache Server logs and I saw I was getting the following;
[Thu Apr 09 12:50:07 2009] [error] [client 130.88.218.16] SoftException in Application.cpp:544: Directory "/usr/home/myblog/public_html/wp-content" is writeable by group, referer: http://myblog.net/wp-admin/upload.php
