WordPress MU

as an example, i wish to install wpmu with 3 blogs with this permalink structure:

0. domain.com (wpmu install into root)
1. domain.com/blog
2. blog.domain.com
3. blog.domain.com/blog

what about giving a blog it's own domain? like how wp.com does it?

search for domain mapping in this forum

I'm not sure if the regular domain mapping plugin will handle mixing install types.
