WordPress MU

So, I'm trying to get the signup system to work and I keep getting an error. Seems like it's in the theme somewhere. So I checked my error logs while I did a clean install on a different domain. I get 4 lines of errors saying things like:

WordPress database error Table 'wordpress_mu_test.wp_blogs' doesn't exist for query SELECT * FROM wp_blogs WHERE domain = 'nodogbeach.com' made by require, include, include_once, require_once, require_once, referer: http://nodogbeach.com/wordpress-mu/

So I go check the database and those tables and values are there. Is this normal? Can this cause other errors during the install?
