TinyMCE isn't showing up (7 posts)

    I've got everything running great but the tinymce editor refuses to show. I just have the plain editor and I could do with the rich editor because it is less confusing for the users.
    What can cause this? I've heard .htaccess but I can't see how!
    Thanks,

    Tried that one, still only shows the plain editor.
    Any other ideas?

    Do you have javascript disabled in your browser?
    Did you change the TinyMCE files in any way?

    Nope, I've changed nothing at all in terms of TinyMCE. Would it be worth downloading a new version or something?

    Really funny... the foo... you will find in tiny_mce_gzip.php
    Here is the bad line :
    $replace2 = "' : '.stripslashes('\\1').__('\\2foo').stripslashes('\\1').'\\3'";

    Replace With

    $replace2 = "' : '.stripslashes('\\1').__('\\2').stripslashes('\\1').'\\3'";

    That's it
