I feel really stupid here asking such simple question - how do you map a domain to replace the original blog address?

Here is my setup - Original blog address http://axieblogs.com/pz

    I have a domain http://peetahzee.com redirected to http://axieblogs.com/pz

Although going to http://peetahzee.com does redirect correctly, but the links generated are using the old url.

So, I went into Admin and editted the Domain under Blog Info (First thing in admin blog page) to http://peetahzee.com, but everything screwed up, 404s and stuff

Then, I tried changing just siteurl and home under Blog Options, but it never saved my changes.

    Any ideas?

Yeah, that won't work. You need a domain mapping plugin or a multi site plugin to get that blog out to a new domain.

I tried the domain mapping plugin, but it said it only supports Virtual Host, what does that mean?

Any examples of a "Multi site plugin"?

I can't paste at the moment, but try searching the form to "multi site plugin"

"it said it only supports Virtual Host, what does that mean?"

It means it only works on a subdomain mu install. There are other that work on a subfolder install.
