Redirect Loop? (4 posts)

I installed WPMU on one of my domains and it was working fine. Then I didn't think I wanted to use it so I deleted it using my ftp and deleted the database, realized yes I did want to use it, uploaded the program again, installed it but now I'm getting a redirect loop when I go to log in???

I have installed and deleted this program on a few domains about 5 times just playing around with it, but now when I click the log in after installing, I get this: http://stuckathomemoms.com/wp-login.php?redirect_to=http%3A%2F%2Fstuckathomemoms.com%2Fwp-admin%2F

If I change it to: http://stuckathomemoms.com I can see the site and when I click log in it directs me to: http://stuckathomemoms.com/wp-admin/
But still gives me the redirect error. Why is it redirecting? How can I stop it? Help?

    I forgot this part.

The only thing I can think of that I did differently when I installed it this time is when I installed it I opted for sub-directories.

With the other installs I wasn't really paying attention and I installed it with the sub-domain option clicked and it worked fine. But I'm only allowed 90 subdomains so I would like to use sub-directories.

    ". But I'm only allowed 90 subdomains so "

The subdomain option works with wildcard subdomains. If your host allowed it. If they do, the 90 subdomain limit does not count.

    Clear your browser cache.

Brilliant! Absolutely Brilliant. That was it!

When I close FireFox I do a Ctrl Alt Del > processes > firefox > end process. That way it reloads the pages each time I open the program. Everything kinda builds up in the memory. As usual I’m my own worst enemy – lol

    Thank you,
