Can Wordpress-mu be installed on a subdomain?
Our school is ourschoolname.lea.net we only have access to ourschoolname.
I've tried installing to ourschoolname.lea.net and it doesnt quite work, however if I use our localhost/blogs it works. It was setup to use directories ie localhost/blogs/user I've tried altering the sql/config file to match external address which just seems to loop.

Yes it works. You need to edit the vhost file.

kind of, but i dont know where to start.
i dont even know where the vhost file is. :(
Depends. What's the OS on the server and what version of apache is it running?
(Note: You don't have access to this on a shared server.)
