WordPress MU

Hello all,

New to this forum, I'm trying to understand how Wordpress Mu is generating cookies so that I can use a Perl script (not a CGI) in order to program a short email to post script for myself.

So, my question is: how the damn cookie(s) is(are) generated so that I can "duplicate" the process in my perl script (I don't want to use my password as I won't have access to the password from the computer where the script is running.

I'm losing my mind trying to understand how cookies are working on the latest version of Wordpres MU and to copy it using Perl ... :)
