I have installed WP MU fine :-)
But I am unclear about the urls for new user blogs
If my install location is http://www.edsite.co.uk/ed_blogg/
...and I create blog called 'elricwilliams'...
...and the Admin CP tells me the url is http://www.edsite.co.uk/ed_blogg/elricwilliams/
...I go to that url and I get an error because there are no files installed there ? !
What am I missing?

No, you don't need to add files. WPMU works on rewrite rules. It grabs the info from the db and "creates" the blog on the fly.
A way to check to see what you need is to look at the post link on the main blog - they don't work either. This means the .htaccess file is missing, or the server is not reading it.
So, it's all very dependant on the .htaccess rewrite rules ?
We're on our inhouse OS X Server 10.4.11 ... guess we'll have to find and answer to that.. :-(
Anyone know how to activate .htaccess properly on OS X Server 10.4.11 ?
