WordPress MU

hi,

i want to change the footer text "hosted by domainname.com
Create a new blog and join in the fun!" which appears on all the blogs created by my wordpress Mu installation.

i have tried to change the default themes footer.php but when i change the theme to some other ( the theme's i am using are from wordpress)theme the default text appears again.

Right.

Those are comments to tell you what to do. you have to take them out and replace them with the code / content / text that you DO want to show.

Oh ok. I thought /* made them not visible.
