LDAP Attribute Mapping (6 posts)

I have successfully configured the LDAP plugin and get the confirmation screen that I have a successful test.

I just tried to add a user, the username showed up correctly but their email address did not come over.

How do I know what the correct attributes are for the mapping screen?

I have hundreds of users and do not want to type in their email addresses.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Which plugin are you using. I'm not seeing any mapping scren in my version. Did you set it to have Auto-Create WPMU Accounts?

Wow, I didn't realize he was up to that point. We use a modified version that incorporates AD, based off version 2.7. Sorry, I'm not gonna be of much help with the latest version.

In Admin -> LDAP Options -> Attribute Mappings

You should see all of the various mappings. (I'm still using 2.8.2, and need to upgrade, but I'll bet the options are in the same place in 2.8.4)

Yep - figured it out once I realized he was a couple of versions ahead of me. Just spent the morning combining his changes with my AD group changes. Fun!
