    Hello,

is there any plugin that can do this:

Give user sidewide admin rights, >>except<< for certain areas which are accessible only to the admin with id 1.

Example: the superadmin can not change buddypress, or the main settings from wpmu (delete other admins etc.).

    Merci!
    kind regards

What you could do it have user=1 be the Site Admin, and just set your "super admin" as blog admin of all of the blogs. I'd think the "new blog defaults" plugin could do this automatically, though you might need to do some modification.

Out of the box, there's only one Site Admin of all the WPMU blogs - main and sub-blogs as STDestiny said above.
The "easy" way to change the current Site Admin's role is to create another Site Admin name e.g. superduperadmin in Site Admin > Options under Administration Settings - Site Admins and create the password etc for it in Users. Then after you make sure that the superduperadmin login and roles are correct, you can now "demote" the previous Site Admin to Editor or Contributor in Users panel.
Having said that, if you are not the Site Admin, you cannot create the superduperadmin at all.
