I'm actually on 2.5.8.2 and BuddyPress 1.1.2.
I'm having this frustrating problem with some kind of bug that reverts my authors back to either "subscriber" or "no role for this blog" every time they try to login or after creating a new blog.
Any idea what's causing this and how I might be able to fix this? Thanks!
So, let me get this straight:
1. On the main blog, you have a user that has their role set as "author"
2. The user logs in to the main blog and their role switches to subscriber on that blog?
I'm not seeing that behavior on 2.8.5.2. So, I'm thinking it's a Buddy Press issue... I tried both with an existing user with roles on other blogs and a new user.
