I'm confused about the time stamps that show up in my WPMU installation. I'm also using Buddy Press so I'm not sure if this is BP theme issue or not.
My site, http://utahdogs.com, shows different time stamps depending on the area that is viewed.
For instance, I just posted a post:
http://utahdogs.com/parks/2009/12/14/slc-herm-franks-park/
And on the main BP page it says that it was posted 2 hours ago. However I just barely posted it two seconds ago.
I've tried adjusting the time setting on the blog itself... I'm at -7 but when I set it as that, the time is still screwy. If I go in to edit the post, it shows me that it actually was published just 2 seconds ago.
Where does the time stamp come from? Is it based on my server time setting? I don't think my server time is the same as my time which I also want to get adjusted.
Anyway I just want to understand so I can get the whole thing telling me the right time.
