I had a quick browse through the forums and couldn't find the answer. Apologies if its already been answered.

    Installed WPMU on subdomain.domain.com
Added 2 blogs with 2 different themes P2 and sandbox
this week my rich text editor decided to stop working. its not there in visual, but clicking to HTML has (b) (i) (link) (b-quote) ... etc...
I had a few plugins installed, have deactivated all of them to see what happens and it's still not there. TinyMCE Advanced plugin doesn't show up when I installed it.
    Doing this through Safari 4.0.4

Any advice? If you need more info... let me know.

    cheers,
    Duncan

to activate visual editor it seems I need to tick the visual editor tick-box in each individual profile.

unfortunately, i don't have that on the profile.php

no active plugins. sandbox theme. no error logs. redownloaded and installed WPMU 2.8.6

any ideas? have read all the other visual editor posts not sure what to do.

Have you checked to see what's in the webserver's error logs?

Yeah, I've seen this problem repeatedly in the forums and don't recall ever seeing a solution.

Aha! Someone may have tracked it down:

Turns out they had hotlink protection turned on in cpanel.
