WordPress MU

Hello,

I have WPMU running with Wordpress MU Domain Mapping by Donncha.

I am having a problem with a redirect loop when I try to use a non-sub domain name as the primary domain. For example:

sub-domain of blog.example.com works fine, but when I try to view example.com, I get stuck in a re-direct loop.

If I set up my mapping settings to make the blog.example.com the primary, then example.com properly redirects to blog.example.com. I do not want that behavior however, I want example.com to work.

Any ideas on what I can do? I have seen a few forum posts regarding this issue and I could not find anyone who had resolved it.

Also in addition, if I log out of WPMU, then the example.com domain works fine.

Hmm, there is a readme file in the plugin folder that seems to have something called Installation Instructions. Interesting....

Well, the sunrise.php file was copied over the current one at wp-content and I removed the COOKIE_DOMAIN setting in wp-config.php and all is right in the world now.

Did something wrong here... my domain mapping plugin works fine but I can't access the backend of the blog I mapped... this comes out:

If http://originalpage.com/mappedblog/wp-admin -> http://mappedblog.com/

If http://mappedblog.com/wp-admin -> maintains main page and URL shown is

http://mappedblog.com/?dm_gotoadmin=1&back=/wp-admin/

Ideas? thanks!!

Did you read everything in the instructions? You may have to comment out a couple lines in the config.

Hey there. I have read all the instructions and made sure my wp-config.php is edited correctly, but I am also stuck in this redirect loop whenever I try and access the back end of one of the blogs.

Tried everything so far. Wondering if there was anymore knowledge out these regarding this issue.
