I'm using wordpress mu version 2.9.2.
Problem
I can add users fine with site admin. I have turned on the setting to allow administrator to add users. One of my admins tried to add a user with first.last@website.com but it said "Please check your email address".
This issue only happens when he tries to add users via users menu on the left and when the domain has dots in the email after @ symbol(first.lastname@website.on.ca won't work but firstname.lastname@website.com works).
This is how our organization does emails first.name@website.on.ca. When I try this with site admin it works fine.
How do I fix this issue so my admins can add users to each site? There will be many users under the admins for each blog site. I do not want to add each user myself.
