How do I redirect visitors to my new permalinks? (4 posts)

A few months ago, I changed my permalinks from /%year%/%monthnum%/%day%/%postname%/ to /%postname%/, but the search engines are still sending traffic to the old permalinks. Is there a way to redirect them to the correct posts?

The software should be doing that automatically as redirect is built in. Can you provide an example of where it's not?

Go get google to crawl your site again so it'll update the permalinks?

Now I'm getting a hits where a question mark is inserted in the url, like so: http://bornfamous.com/?/category/yiddish-word-of-the-day/. And here's one where the date is in the url, plus the question mark.

How do I get Google to recrawl my site? I've tried the manual button on the Google Sitemap plugin, with no luck.
