I’m working on a customer’s website that is using WordPress MU. I have 2 questions.

Question 1 :When you are in WPMU and you click on Site Admin and go to Blogs and go to one of the blogs that have been added for domain mapping and click on Backend how can it be set so you need to log into the sub-domain blog?

Question 2: Anyone familiar with a php file called wpmu-marq.php? This controls a scrolling marquee on the parent and different sub-domain blogs.

The problem I'm having is in the admin panel on the left in the tool bar I click on "Marquee" and it takes me to the admin for that tool. When I put in new words for scrolling text and click on update and visit any of my sub-blogs it displays the scrolling text from the parent blog. Would you have an idea or suggestion why it does this?

I have the domains mapped and the IP for set for the web host and I have the domains parked in the cpanel, but it is only recognizing the parent blog scrolling text.

You can see below what I’m referring too

    WPMU Parent http://michiganfloodcleanup.net

A mapped Sub-domain blog http://michiganflooddamage.net to the parent blog. Both are displaying the same marquee text. I would like it to be different.

Then the marquee plugin is not working in MU. Talk to the plugin author.

Are you sure you're setting the text for the sub-blogs while logged in to the backend of that blog?
