    Hi!

I'm having a hard time making new blogs work. Here is the scenario:

    1. I purchased a hosting account called chibilicious.com. In its root is the normal wordpress blog.

    2. I purchased a new DOMAIN name, cloverpath.com and had it reside on chibilicious' server (in the form of a subfolder).

    3. In the cloverpath.com subfolder, I installed the wpmu files. Installation was successful.

    4. I logged in to the admin area >> went to Blogs >> added a new blog.

    5. Blog added Successful!

    6. But when I try to view the blog or its backend (admin area), it automatically redirects to the normal wordpress chibilicious.com blog.

    7. I checked phpmyadmin to see if a new wpmu blog ID has been created and saw that THERE IS.

The question now is, how can I make cloverpath added blogs work properly and not redirect to the normal WP blog?

Because you are using an add-on domain.

Your webhost has set the server so the wildcards point to the main domain on your account.

so you mean the necessary edit needed to make the new blogs work properly will come from the host/server side?
