WPMU video embeds not like regular WP? (10 posts)

    I get this in regular WP:

    Paste your YouTube or Google Video URL above, or use the examples below.

    * YouTube instructions [youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cXXm696UbKY]
    * Google instructions [googlevideo=http://video.google.com/googleplayer.swf?docId=-8459301055248673864]
    * DailyMotion instructions [dailymotion id=5zYRy1JLhuGlP3BGw]

    But not in WPMU.

    Have we installed incorrectly, or is this not a feature in WPMU? If it is in WPMU, how do we turn it on?

    Thanks in advance!

    Under 2.9.2 you just paste the raw URLs in.

    What about embed codes, if you don't have a URL?

    Embed codes contain the URL.

    How do users resize the video to fit their theme's post area after it is embedded?

    I{m using Mu2.9.2 and I can{t embed codes, youtube video, etc. So far I haven{t found a plugin/hack that works, do you have any idea how to fix this issue?

    Stick the url to the video on its own line.

    Sorry to be slow but what exactly do you mean, 'stick the url to the video on it's own line'?

    I've got this embed code from youtube:
    <object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/xn4OjG-VMC4&hl=en_US&fs=1&rel=0"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/xn4OjG-VMC4&hl=en_US&fs=1&rel=0" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object>

    And in html view I paste it, adding line breaks all around the url but nothing seems to work. And by not work, I mean once I save as draft, the code all disappears.

    On a regular wp2.9.2 install, same procedure works without issue (even without the url on it's own line).

    Any ideas?
