I've put a bunch of my normal plugins in the mu-plugins folder that I wanted to work sitewide and they are all working smoothly. I was wondering though, without a mu-plugin admin menu how will I know when to update those plugins? Do I have to check manually and update them manually?

We use a wiki that lists each plugin, what version we have installed and a link to the plugins home page that we do right clicks off of to check on them. Takes like a minute 30 to run down each platform we support.
