I've installed mu and created 3 sub-blogs.
Could I skip the visualization of the main mu website and pass directyl to one of the subforums?
So when a user digits:
http://www.my-mu-main-website.tld
will access directly:
http://www.my-mu-main-website.tld/michael

If there are any, what are the main differences in functions and theme between a main mu website and a sub-wordpress sites created by mu?
None.
The blog url is virtual. The themes are shared. The main index.php of your site is needed for everything to work.
