I'm not 100% sure but I think Wordpress MU is filtering out external images when i'm saving posts how do I disable this "feature" because I really need to be able to include external images.
e.g. <img src="http://domain.com/image.jpg"> works fine but
<img src="http://otherdomain.com/image.jpg"> gets changed to <img> When I save it in Wordpress MU, these filters are really pretty annoying.
While mu does strip code, it should not be stripping out image code, regardless of where the image is hosted.
Please disable all the plugins and see if it still does this.
What's the specific other domain? The reason I ask is we had a thread a few days ago where someone using domain.co.uk was having an issue. Just wondering if this is a reoccurrance of that.
May also be because you;re missing the trailing closing slash from the img tag although it is working in the first one.
