Just updated to 3.0, question about blogs.php (4 posts)

It gives me the notification that I should remove wp-content/blogs.php, does that mean just delete it or move it out somewhere? Then, it says replace wp-content/blogs.php in your .htaccess with wp-includes/ms-files.php. Are we supposed to have a ms-files.php in wp-includes right now?

    So far I've:
    Updated to 3.0
    Logged in
Seen the notification I talked about
    Did NOT remove blogs.php yet
Replaced wp-content/blogs.php in .htaccess with wp-includes/ms-files.php

The notification still remains at the top. I don't have a wp-includes/ms-files.php file.

    Just delete blogs.php -

This is all that's necessary. I couldn't find ms-files.php either - but it works!

You still have to update the line in htaccess that called blogs.php. Just tell it to use /wp-includes/ms-files.php instead.
