How to prevent the blog author from receiving an email when he comments himself on his own blog ?

Never heard of this before - are you using a additional plugin like subscripe to comments or it is just the standard-message?

Yes the author receives the normal email he receives for any comment, even when he comments himself.
I'm using a rather old nightly, maybe this has been fixed in the recent versions of MU.

Yep, it was a problem in one of the regular WP builds. I *think* it's been cleared up. I'd have to double-check.

does anyone know which php file to edit for the headers sent out when new comments are posted to a user's blog?

one of the reply to addresses is "wordpress@hadithuna.com" and I would like to change that :)
