Ubernyms is a plugin which allows you to define acronyms, abbreviations, words or phrases, so that wherever they appear in your blog they will trigger a mouseover popup which can define or elaborate on the subject. It can be anything from an acronym expanded to a bio of someone, complete with picture or avatar.

I've modified it to work in the mu-plugins folder. You can download a copy from software.elohigadugi.org/ubernyms-mu. I'd love to have feedback on how it works for you.
