WordPress MU

I want to create blog (WordPress 2.1) from RSS feeds of many (over 100) selected blogs (from blogger.com, livejournal etc.) using autoblog plugin.
I wonder will it cause any problem in my server? If so, is there a way to unify many RSS feeds to one feed and import only that feed?

If you are running it often enough you only need the newest few posts, so the google reader hack could work nicely.

I'm with Andrea's line of thought on this one.

When "jackasses" (as I like to call them) use any of my feeds for their spammy crap, it ticks me off to no end.

I'd say I spend probably 5 hours a week getting idiots that do this shut down. Of course I also have other tricks in play to "discourage" such usage.

Guess that's the downside of when people use good plugins for bad purposes. (Why is a "popular" phrase from Kyle on South Park coming to mind?)

Agree dbut innocent until proven guilty. They even help the spammers over at wp.org and wp.com. :)

Of course we then report them to staff over at wp.com...

Sorry for not being specific. I am from Mongolia and building blog hosting for my fellow Mongolians in local language using WPMU. English knowledge of the nation is not so good, so we thought blog hosting in local language would be good.

There are some Mongolian bloggers using blogger.com etc. I want my readers to read not only what's on our blogs, but also what others are writing around the internet (in Mongolian language). That's why I wanted to create blog from RSS feeds.

As for asking wp 2.1 question here, I'm used to this forum and found many many helpful advices and answers to my problems. I followed drmike's advice here:

and realised I can create blog that way. I just wonder does reading many RSS feeds use much of the server resource? Or there isn't much to worry about?
