Hello I use MU with k2 theme and I can't get the register tab to appear on the header.
Is register just registering to that one blog or the whole site?
and.. I want a signup tab too (so people can make their own blog) how can I do that?

The register link is for creating an account for teh whole site. WPMu doesn't do registering for individual blogs although your end users can assign users to the different positions for their individual blogs.
As to the signup, just create a link to the signup page on the main blog. I do that in pretty much all of my themes as well.
In that theme, as soon as you create a page, it makes a new tab along the top.
yes but how to make this page open registration page
how can i create a style sheet for my singup page ..
see here
http://mychatoo.com/
and see singup page here
http://mychatoo.com/wp-signup.php
i wanna it to open like pages open
The signup page has a class around it ( content-wide) that is in the default theme, but NOT in your theme. Add that to your style sheet.
reference: <div id="content" class="widecolumn"> in wp-signup.php.
For your theme, look in the stylesheet for the class CON.
Copy it and call it widecolumn. Save.
Funny, I just filed this bug, which might help you out:
Mazzika has an issue with styling his signup page in general, and having it match his chosen theme.
jdub - How did you make out on that? I am in the same boat and completely lost in PHP. I too am having the same issue of not being able to allow my users to "Register" because its like a egg hunt trying to find the freakin link.
Funny enough after reading your ticket and wanting to post a response here it took me a few minutes to find the REGISTER BUTTON!
