I have installed wordpress-mu-1.1.1 and have not yet been able to figure out how to make created blogs appear in a sub dir. I would like something like this:

    /wpmu/
    /wpmu/topLevelBlog/
    /wpmu/topLevelBlog/subLevelBlog/

I have attempted to do this by first creating a new blog:

    /wpmu/topLevelBlog/

    and then another:

    /wpmu/subLevelBlog/

and then going to site admin / blogs, and then selected edit for /wpmu/subLevelBlog/, and attempted to change the path of this blog to /wpmu/topLevelBlog/subLevelBlog/

Now when i view site admin / blogs it shows up how I would like it to show up after my domain, but when I click view, it redirects to:

    http://mydomain.com/wpmu/topLevelBlog/subLevelBlog/

And shows me the theme 404.

Does anyone know how I can do this? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Bad news... I believe that MU is looking for a post titles "subLevelBlog" in the blog "topLevelBlog". try changing the theme on the sublevel blog to prove this, if the theme is still the top level blog, then you know where it is looking.

Pretty much. WPMu is going going to put blogs at the /wpmu/topLevelBlog/ level. It won't go further down than that.
