I was just wondering if it's a hard task to switch from the normal version of WordPress to the multi-user version? Basically, I want to keep all of the posts and users and what not that I have now, as well as plugins, themes, etc.
Is this possible/easy? Thanks.
Hi,
it is. :-)
I started by puting the mu in the same databse, using mu_ az a prefix. Then after installing the mu, I copied in phpmyadmin all the posts and comments into the corresponding mu table.
It is recommended, that your "normal" wp blog is 2.1.x and not 2.0 format. You can altough use 2.1's export function, and then import the exported blog (posts) into the new mu blog.
OK, that's great to know I can do it.
But I'm not a wizard with coding and such, and well, what you just said confused the hell out of me quite a bit.
I do have version 2.1.2, that's all I can tell you. The rest I have not clue of how to do.

Wow. Another thread on this?
::rolleyes::
I'm sorry. I tried looking through to see if this was already, answered, but I couldn't find one. If there are some that answer the question, I would gladly use them as a guide.
