I am trying to set up a wordpress mu using sub domains. The installation went well, and it creates new blogs. But when I try to access that mynewblog.example.com the browser says there is no such domain.

In the forum the first question everyone asks is: did you set up wildcards? did you config your vhosts?

Those are not explained on the installation guide, and I have nnt much of an ideao of what they mean. I contacted my host provider and he was not very useful, simply explaining that I didn't had to worry about vhosts (I guess he didn't understood my question) How do I do that?

    thanks..

do you have access to any DNS config tool? do you have a config panel available? something like plesk or confixx or whatever but it might be easiear to help you if we knew what tools you have accessible.

I guess you are on shared hosting?

"Those are not explained on the installation guide"

    Um, yes they are.

EDIT: apache config file (httpd.conf for A1, domain.tld/conf for A2)
    ADD: DNS A record: *
