WordPress MU

Hi,

I am trying to install WPMU on a server which already hosts a WP installation. Currently, the WP installation is in directory blog and uses the addresses like http://domain.com/blog/xxx. I need to replace this WP installation with the WPMU. Currently, WPMU is installed under /home/WPMU, so it is being referred to as http://domain.com/WPMU/xxx. I want to keep it in the directory WPMU for now to work out all the issues, and then when the time comes to roll out this new WPMU, I would like to refer to it using http://domain.com/blog/xxx.

Yes, possible ...

At least 2 ways you can do (when the time is coming) :

1. Modify httpd (apache) conf file, so the blog directory will be known as /something/ and the WPMU directory will be known as /blog/ --> check also what Alias reserved word syntax), or
2. Rename the directory itself. Rename blog to something and WPMU to blog
