Can I install and run wpmu on a secured site https?

You know, I'm sitting here thinking about this doing my best trying not to insult the poster but I'm banging my head against the keyboard. I gotta admit that if they can't do a simple search to find their answer, I seriously doubt they're going to be able to run WPMu. I want to be polite but it's really, really hard.

I blew off some steam this afternoon and it's not helping. I tried to help someone over on the wp.org forums and now I'm flooded with support requests for a theme that I didn't design nor really care for. After I finished an hour over in the wp.com forums answering questions and fixing all of the incorrect posts, I looked at the front page and it was 'drmike' all the way down the front page of the forums.

I think it;s time for me to step away.
