It would be very nice to have the ability to assign multiple hostnames to a blog. Kindof like this:

    joeblack.blog.com and
joeblack.com both pointing to the same blog. I know this would take changes to the httpd.conf, but may be worth it for some people/hosts. There may be another way to do it in php or with modrewrite, but again, far beyond my skills at this point.

Just in case someone is thinking about using a CNAME to accomplish this, I did try that, and it didn't work for me. If there is someone that has had different luck, please let me know... Something in the software that would do this would be great though.

    ServerAlias Directive
Description: Alternate names for a host used when matching requests to name-virtual hosts.

There is no way to do it except through httpd.conf.
I reckon it wouldn't be too hard to write a plugin to modify a conf file and setup httpd.conf to reference this file...
But doing this would be a huge security risk and all that.....
It's not impossible to solve the issue we are all having with mapping multiple domains to a single WPMU automatically. It's possible to do it manually, it's possible to do it automatically...
