Admin Panel Problems (8 posts)

    Hi-
I have a couple problems with the admin panel, I have a feeling that they are all connected, but I'm not sure where to look:

    1. Updates are not saving- I will attempt to change the admin e-mail address, and click update. It will say 'changes saved' but the old e-mail address still appears.

    2. Deleting a page. I delete a page, it disappears until I refresh the screen, then it is back on there.

    3. When I am in the admin panel, I will get errors like this on every page:
    Line 86
    Char 2
Error: Expected identifier, string or number
    URL: .../wp-admin/edit.php

    Line 65
    Char 2
Error: Error: Expected identifier, string or number
    URL: .../wp-admin/options-general.php

It continues like this for about every admin panel page.

    I am running version wordpress-mu-1.2.3-2.2.1

    Thanks!

I've had plugins not activating in the regular wordpress because of wp-cache. Couldn;t be a cache issue?

What browser, browser version and OS are you using? Sounds more like an AJAX/ javascript issue.

    I use IE6/Avant.

I just went and checked it in Firefox- it let me delete the page, but it still won't let me change the admin e-mail address.

I don't use Firefox that much, but it doesn't appear to be showing that error.

If you logout, clear your browsers file and cookie cache, do you still have the issue?

Yes, it's still not letting me change the e-mail address.

Is this for the main blog?

If so, 99% of the options in wp_1_options are probably duped. Remove the dups, and see if that helps.
