form & javascript in blog pot not working (4 posts)

I have included some JavaScript and a form in my WordPress blog post. The whole thing works great when it's a standalone HTML page, but when I make it a WordPress post the "Highlight" (submit) button doesn't work.

I suppose the WordPress formatting or markup is breaking things. But I use the text control plugin and my form still doesn't work even when I remove formatting and character encoding.

How can I get my "Highlight" button to work?

Below is the working HTML file, followed by the Wordpress blog code (the only difference is that the Wordpress code lacks tags like: <html> <head> </head> <body> </body> </html>)

Here's the HTML file, try it for yourself:

And here's the non-working WordPress code:

    Any ideas?

OK, I've seen that you;ve posted this on the wp.com forums as well. Are you an end user over at wp.com, an end user on another wpmu platform or a site admin on a wpmu install?

I've got my own hosting with Siteground.com - just trying to get the Wordpress software to work, not necessarily a specific hosting site.

Well, if it's WordPress in your own space, you need to be over at http://wordpress.org/support as that's the support site for the software. These forums are for WordPress Multiuser, a different package and our answers would be different.
