I am trying to work out how MU handles .htaccess, I've tried searching through the existing posts but can't find what I'm looking for.
I want 'http://my.com/download/file.zip' to point to 'http://my.com/wp-content/plugins/
wp-downloadMonitor/download.php?id=file.zip' in order to make an excellent download monitor plugin work well.
I've tried adding the rewrite rules that the plugin generates to the .htaccess file in various places but couldn't get it working. I suspect the way that MU handles pretty urls and .htaccess is my problem.
Any help is appreciated!
