Hi there all - are there any controls/limits that can be placed on users if you open up your site and install WordPress MU for anyone to use are you opening yourself up to having a bunch of photos, videos and songs hogging up your bandwidth? Or is there a way to limit those things?? Anyone know? thanks!

Posted 16 years ago #Theres a default upload limit of 15megs i believe. If you're worried about such things, there are plugins that use Amazon's S3 and there's also the DivShare plugin.

Posted 16 years ago #There are several features that allow you to control what, if anything, people can upload. You can set the global upload limit to whatever you want. You can also set the maximum size for a single uploaded file. And you can edit the list of approved file types.
