I have an issue on my site at the moment - the "Greetings Site Administrator" message on wp-signup.php is displayed even when I'm not logged in. Is anyone else seeing this problem?

I do have a plugin that is called on wp-signup.php but even after removing it, I still see the message. I've also tried accessing the page from a different IP address and from a computer that I haven't logged into before, and it still gets displayed.

I'm just about to comment those lines out of the file (even though I don't like hacking core files) but thought I'd post here first to see if anyone else is having the problem.

OK, I've been having some crazy caching issues on the site and I think this was a cause of that message being displayed to all users. So I've disabled all caching for the time being.

Just delete that part of the text from wp-signup.php. The notification is not that important. Definitely second-sitting next to cache.
