WordPress MU

I have a website which is runing Wordpress and now I would like to add to the server Wordpress MU. Will this create some king of a confirm with the data base or files ?

Should I intall it in a sub directory as my WP in in the main plublic_html forlder?

it won't cause any problems, just install it in a subfolder of your domain (i.e. yourdomain/blogs/).

I'd installed wp 2.3.3 into /home/ and put index.php file, .htaccess file into / (root). I can call wp2.3.3 by url http: / /example.com/

Then, I'd installed wpmu 2.6 into /blog/ and setting to use sub-directories like http: / /example.com/blog/exampleblog1

It's worked.
