I am moving to a new server, and had them make the necessary adjustments to php.ini and such as outlined in the wordpressmu readme. I moved my files over and I got 500 internal server error.

SO I asked host to double check all settings are what is aksed by wpmu readme, they said the htacces was conflict. I tried again, same results.

So i deleted all files, and tried worpal.com - got a 404 instead of 500 error.

So I uploaded fresh download of newest mu download went to .com/index.php - 500 internal server error.

then tried using the htaccess-dist with added two lines
    php_flag register_globals 0
    php_flag display_errors 0
    - same 500 error

then tried blank htaccess with those two lines
    - same 500 error

Any ideas? I've rtfm like 15 times now

any way to check host's setting of needed settings?

Can you access your new server via IP address when there's nothing on it? Like before you put MU there?

not sure really. my mu is on a subfolder on a server with about a dozen domains on my account. When I go to the IP for my VPS server it comes up with some"Great Success !
Apache is working on your cPanel® and WHM™ Server"

and not the root domain for the server which is qrcoders.com

could there be some additional setting that needs to be tweaked because of this?
