Importing exisiting blogs to mu wordpress (6 posts)

    Hi

    I see some site offers plugin that will import existing blogs from
    blogger, blogware, livejournal, typepad, dotclear, graymatter into wordpress.

    can someone please point me to the plugins required?

    forgot to mention that there is no IMPORT link under MANGE ....

    as which user are you logged in?
    what version of wpmu are u using?

    the import/export functions are no plugin but built into wpmu

    If you're not seeing an Import link... are you the site admin or a user on a WPMU system?

    Thanks for taking the time to answer. I had MU sidewide plugin installed that masked the import/export function also to admin.

    Toggle Admin Menus from http://iblog.stjschool.org

    I guess its a bug of the plugin because it seems to be setup correctly.

    wpmudev.org is in maintenance mode this morning so I'll upload a fixed Menu plugin ASAP.

    In the meantime, the typo is as follows:

    1) find $menu_perms[ 'Import' ]and change to $menu_perms[ 'Manage Import' ] about line 363

    2) find $menu_perms[ 'Export' ] and change to $menu_perms[ 'Manage Export' ] about line 376 of version 2.1
