so when im in a MU blog that has several blogs i need to know how to access the pathname for the blog im on..
example...
http://www.wordpress.org/myblog/about
http://www.wordpress.org/anotherblog/about
how do i get the "myblog" part of the URL.. this is the path in the MU admin.

3 hours and no answer. Maybe everyone else is like me and they dont understand what you're asking. Explain a bit more ?
WPMU has two (2) different types of URL structures:
1) username.domain.com (subdomain)
2) domain.com/username (subdirectory)
Therefore, the admins would be:
1) username.domain.com/wp-admin/
2) domain.com/username/wp-admin/
Just as Klarko, I don't understand what you are asking. The "username" part of the URL is created from whatever the user put in when they signed up.
